We take your privacy seriously. Our app is designed with privacy at its core — we use row-level security to ensure only you can access your data, and we never share or sell your personal information.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. This information is required to identify you and provide the service.

2.2 Usage Data

We collect data you voluntarily provide through the App:

  • Daily log entries (date, status, optional notes)
  • Pledge amount (the virtual daily savings amount you set)
  • Savings goals (title, target amount, category)
  • Streak information (current streak, longest streak)

2.3 Technical Data

We may collect standard technical data such as browser type, device information, and access timestamps to maintain the security and performance of the App. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics services.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

  • Provide and maintain the App's functionality
  • Display your personal dashboard, streaks, and savings
  • Calculate and track your progress toward savings goals
  • Send essential account-related communications
  • Ensure the security of your account

We do not use your data for advertising, sell it to third parties, or use it for any purpose beyond providing the service.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted infrastructure provider. We implement the following security measures:

  • Row-Level Security (RLS): Database policies ensure each user can only access their own data
  • Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
  • Authentication: Secure token-based authentication via Supabase Auth
  • Server-side validation: All data mutations are validated on the server before processing

5. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information with any third parties. Your habit tracking data, savings information, and personal details remain strictly confidential.

We may disclose your information only if required by law, such as in response to a valid legal order or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Health is Wealth or others.

6. Your Rights

Under applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:

  • Access: View all personal data we hold about you (available via the Export Data feature in your Profile)
  • Rectification: Update or correct your personal information at any time through your Profile settings
  • Erasure: Delete your account and all associated data permanently through the Delete Account feature
  • Data Portability: Export all your data in JSON format via the Export Data feature
  • Restriction: Request that we limit processing of your data

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data — including daily logs, streaks, goals, and profile information — is permanently removed from our servers immediately.

You may also selectively delete data using the Reset Data feature, which allows you to remove daily logs for a specific date range.

8. Cookies & Tracking

Health is Wealth uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics tools.

9. Children's Privacy

Health is Wealth is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
